It's like Advance Wars for mobile

Lots of options, strong combat mechanics, deep gameplay
Bad sound, requires registration to play
Back in the Gameboy Advance days, there was a little game called Advance Wars, which to this day is one of the best turn-based strategy games that I’ve ever played. UniWar for Android is a game that looks and feels a lot like AW, though it doesn’t have the same depth and personality, and it’s simply not as fun either.
This game is a turn-based strategy game with a pretty huge online community. It’s much more akin to chess than anything else and has a pretty complex combat system to boot. You’ll have a handful of units that all do different things and have different strengths and weaknesses. Part of the strategy is formulating a strategy and then figure out how to adapt that in response to whatever your opponent does.
You’ll need to do things like use the terrain to your advantage, build units that counter what you’re opponent is doing, and make sure you’re constantly capturing bases so that you can maintain map control and have the upper hand when it comes to resources.
The tutorial is really simple and is needed, too. It’s not one that makes you feel like the game is just pandering to you. It’s quick and simple to run through.
UniWar for Android is one of the best strategy games on the Android platform today. It has a pretty lengthy history as being such, and I don’t think there is quite another game like it.
