Review Number Puzzle
An intriguing game of numbers

Intriguing gameplay
Ugly UI, very basic visuals
Fun fact: I once crammed an entire semester of Trigonometry into two weeks of studying and managed to pass with a B. Games like Number Puzzle still kick my butt, though. Grab a board, throw numbers on it, and that’s what this game is.
The idea is that you’re matching the same numbers together to create bigger numbers, and you do this endlessly, or until you run out of tiles to move. And it’s more than likely that you’ll just run out of space to move things because this is a tough game.
You slide numbers around by swiping, but when you swipe you’re not just swiping one tile, all of the tiles come with it. So you’ve really gotta take a look around and see what you can do to maximize each swipe, otherwise it’s going to be game over real soon. This is a game where blind luck plays a big factor in how well you do, but there are definitely ways to repeatedly rack up high points.
I can’t place why, but I found myself playing this game almost mindlessly for close to an hour. I’m not sure if I was actually thinking through any of what I was doing, but it was just so easy to keep playing that I did.
Number Puzzle is for those days when you really just want to sit down and rewind. You don’t have to worry about thinking too hard if you don’t want to, but you can totally be a try hard and rack up huge points if you put your mind to it.
