Mr. Right for Android is a game that puts you in the unfortunate shoes of a man who is late for his wedding. You’ve gotta make sure he gets to the church on time so he doesn’t stand up his bride. There’s a bit of a catch, though. With elevated roads, tons of twists and turns, you’ll soon realize this is a difficult task since you can only turn right.
This is easily one of the most unique puzzle games I think I’ve played in quite a while, and I loved just about everything about this game. First up are the puzzles. Tapping the screen will cause your character to turn right, so you’ve gotta make sure you plan your route so that you take only right turns. You also need to make sure that you tap the screen at the right time, too, otherwise you’ll fall off the level.
There are multiple objectives to grab in each level, too. Picking up all the roses in the level guarantees you a star, making sure you beat the level within a set amount of time guarantees you a star, and completing the level in your first run also guarantees a star. This means there are clear parameters set in place for getting three stars.
Rewards pop up frequently too. In fact, I never once went to search for the rewards to see what they were because I kept unlocking new sets of clothes at a decent pace automatically. The problem is that I’m not a huge fan of the sets of clothing you can unlock and don’t think they really add much to the game.
Mr. Right is a game that grows more complex the longer you play. New level mechanics get thrown in, levels become longer, and multiple paths branch out in a way that forces you to pre-plan your route. All of this comes together in a complete package that makes the game a must play.
