Fans of the Stupid Zombies franchise will feel right at home with Stupid Zombies 3 - Dying Light for Android. The zombies are back and this time there are some new friends tagging along. This game ties together with the Dying Light series and lets you play as two characters.
So even though this is a zombie games with guns, it’s more of a puzzle game than anything else. Think Angry Birds rather than anything else. Your character doesn’t move until your turn is over and you’re never in danger of being attacked by zombies because, well, I guess they’re too stupid.
What you’re trying to do is take down a certain number of colored zombies depending on what the game is asking of you at the time. Zombies appear in various parts of each level and you’ll use ricocheting bullets to take down as many with a single shot as you can. When you take one shot, you’ll move on to the next part of the level.
What I’ve never really liked about these games is that trying to nail down all of these shots to an exact science is literally impossible. You do get a guide that shows you where your shot is going to go, but never in enough detail, plus it’s excruciatingly difficult trying to map out how to perfectly align each shot - if it’s even possible.
Stupid Zombies 3 - Dying Light does tie in some characters from Dying Light, but all they’ve done is reskinned the existing assets. When all's said and done, this is still another Stupid Zombies game.
