Review School Days
One of the more unique games on the Play Store

Extremely unique premise, good graphics, solid controls
No tutorial, pretty graphic in nature
The weirdest game that I’ve played in quite some time goes to School Days for Android. It’s a simulator of sorts that meshes your typical high school experience with professional wrestling. Or something close to that, anyway. To be honest, even after playing the game, I’m not really sure what the game is about. So, bear with me as I do my best to explain this weird game.
So, part of the game’s ridiculousness (and I mean that in a good way) stems from the game’s story. Hard Time’s prison has closed down and has re-opened as a high school. When I say it’s re-opened as a high school, I mean all of the inmates are still in there, hence all of the violence. The game stems around you having to rush around from class to class, trying to not get into too much trouble, and actually learn a little from your classes. You can build up your popularity, and you’ll eventually be graded at the end, too.
The game is free reign, which means you can honestly do whatever you want. I was suspended for a week for beating everyone up in the cafeteria with a history book, for example. Prior to that, I had to go to “court” because I was caught drinking alcohol. Weird stuff happens.
The idea is that you need to check your schedule consistently so you can always make it to your classes on time. This will help you increase your grades. Doing cool stuff will also increase your popularity, which is another thing you want to work towards.
The game’s controls are a bit flawed, however. They’re responsive enough, but there is no real tutorial that shows you what exactly they do. You also don’t get any kind of explanation for how you should pick your characters, and the ultimate objective is also not explained. As much as I’m not a fan of tutorials, this game could use one.
School Days is definitely a unique game, but it’s not one for everyone. The language can be harsh, definitely not suitable for children, and the violent nature of the game is also questionable for children. That said, if you like uncensored games then this is a great game to pick up.
